Gods Amazing GRACE!!!!

Every day that pass It gets harder to not smoke it seems. To get to the goal that Ive set for myself to stop smoking for my Lord and my future wife. Then like a flood I get this strong desire to smoke and then I do,
I feel so down like Ive betrayed, God and my future spouse, But then when I feel like I can take it no more,
Gods Amazing grace floods my heart and soul, I fall to my knees and thank the Lord for his amazing grace that never ceases, His amazing love for us rotten Sinners we don't deserve His love and mercies...

I don't know what you call it a poem or poetry or what, I don't know.
just thought I would post it.

It's the same with me and the addiction that I have to this particular thing (it's something that's going to have to go unnamed for now)...

Sometimes when you give in to the temptation, it's easy to forget that God's not a God of condemnation. He'll convict, but never condemn.

This post was encouraging - and I'm grateful that I read this.

Praying for you!

There was a time in my life where I would have been extremely judgemental to someone who smoked and was a Christian, but the older I get, the more I understand exactly your sentiments in this post.

We are all sinners, and we all fall, but "God's grace is sufficient for us..." I myself have struggled with personal sins that bring me to my knees more than I would like to admit, but like you said, God's amazing grace never ceases.

Great Post Brother.

Ya know, we're all the same. We're all sinners. Not one Christian is more sinless than the other.
And, this is so true, something my pastor pointed out to us the other day. We are ALL addicted to something. We ALL need grace. Addiction is a type of bondage, but we KNOW we can defeat it in Jesus' name. And if you fall, get back up again. A just man falleth seven times and riseth up again. (Proverbs) ...the just shall live by his faith. (Habakkuk) I'm praying for you!
