Day 19

Day 19 - Nicknames you have; why do you have them.

“To Tall” I got this one when I went to a 4 week class on
Small engine repair. When I walked in the door way I hit
My forehead and the first thing they said was man ur to
Tall and the nick name has stuck. I’m 6’ 5” tall I wear
A size 17 in Vans, 14 in converse and 15 in boots witch makes
it where I get all the big feet jokes.

My big Sister’s Leah & Daniel would call me “Ad pad” why
I don’t know I never have asked why?.

“Big Bird” I got this name from my friends that
I hang out with here in my hood I had bought a turkey call
From academy and pretty much ever time we went fishing
That month I had the call and was learning to use it.

“Ad” well my name is Adam so it’s just a way to shorten my name.

"Big A" Well I'm tall and my name starts with "A"so.

"Double A" My first and last name start with A.

I actually believe that one of the characters from the movie "We were soldiers" (based on the book _We Were Soldiers once....and young_ GREAT story about the Vietnamese War, highly recommend it for those who can handle rough war movies. But anyways there is a pilot that slipped in even though he is about 6'4" and I think (if I remember correctly) his nickname is "Too tall" as well.

If you do watch the movie beware that there is a lot of language and I think the violence goes without saying.

Hello Adam, I wanted to ask you about one of the banners on the side of your blog. I am not sure that I understand the one about the Cops and crackheads completely. I have my guess but want to hear your view before I can clearly understand it.

It's meant to be funny, I found it on Law Enforcement Today website.
It make me crack up every time I see it.

Interesting post about nicknames. Maybe I will try something similar on my blog.
