"The purity that God asks in your and my life, is not a purity the see's how close you can get to some imaginary line, it is a purity that has you running as fast as you can in the opposite direction." Joshua Harris

Not Date!!!!!!! What?

Now I have never dated but when I turned 19 I was like well Lord im not married yet?

I had a lot of Question’s. How was I going to find a wife? What did the Lord want me to do?

So I started to search the Bible for some insight on the subject. Pro 18:22 Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, And obtaineth favor of Jehovah. Pro 5:18 So be happy with your wife and find your joy with the woman you married.Pro 5:19 pretty and graceful as a deer. Let her charms keep you happy; let her surround you with her love.

It says in Matthew Henry's Commentary on Pro 5:18

Let him that is married take delight in his wife, and let him be very fond of her, not only because she is the wife that he himself has chosen and he ought to be pleased with his own choice, but because she is the wife that God in his providence appointed for him and he ought much more to be pleased with the divine appointment, pleased with her because she is his own. Let thy fountain be blessed think thyself very happy in her, look upon her as a blessed wife, let her have thy blessing, pray daily for her, and then rejoice with her. Those comforts we are likely to have joy of that are sanctified to us by prayer and the blessing of God. It is not only allowed us, but commanded us, to be pleasant with our relations; and it particularly becomes yoke-fellows to rejoice together and in each other. Mutual delight is the bond of mutual fidelity. It is not only taken for granted that the bridegroom rejoices over his bride, but given for law. Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of thy life. God in his providence appointed for him. It makes sense to me that God made me and this earth why can't he help me find  my wife. Then I found Joshua Harris's book (I Kissed Dating Goodbye). Ive read this book like five times, you know how you find a good book and you; just want to soak it up. While I read his book I searched the Bible at the same time. God says some where is His word “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. " He new me when I was in my mothers womb, He knows the trouble that ill go through in the future and what im going through now so why not? Surly He can help me find my wife. "Trust Him even if it means not dating when other people think you should. When God knows you're ready for the responsibility of commitment, He'll reveal the right person under the right circumstances." Josh. I made a vow to God and my future wife. Along time ago when I was 15 years old that I would save my first kiss for that day when the pastor would say and I quote "I now pronounce you man and wife you may kiss the bride". And that I will stay pure for Her. I would have never made it this far if it was not for the Lord in my life I owe it all to God. In the past couple of years ive learned to love the Lord Ive found that I need Him every hour of every day. I believe that the Lord wants me to take the route of Courtship. I went to the THSC conference an I signed up for teen staff and in between helping out we went to classes at this one class. There was a married couple John and Laurie and they talked about the option of courtship and how they had met, and that courtship works with the guidance of the Lord through prayer.” But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives,” the Bible tells us,” he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control"(Galatians 5:22-23, NLT). “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. " When the Holy Spirit guides our journey toward marriage, our relationships will exhibit the same qualities.". From Josh's book.

Rebecca St. James has this song that’s been a great encouragement to me its called "Wait for me" I think it’s a letter to her future husband.

So im trusting in God on this matter.

I am, no I will be living my for Jesus from this day forward,
It will be hard but with the Lord working through me I can
do this.

True Love Can What with Gods help..

Well folks, Here is my first GUEST POST

Trucks, The Friendly Delivery Man and Our Protectors

I had a thought on the way home from the store (Christmas shopping aahhh!), today. The store was out of what I needed and I was told a truck would be in today. Then on the way home I saw an 18 wheeler, and that is what started this thought process.

Truckers and Package Delivery People: Truckers, they have a huge job to keep our stores stocked during the Christmas season and all year ‘round. Today we all take advantage of internet shopping, as a convenient way to get our Christmas shopping done, even last minute. And to get all our stuff there by Christmas the Mail, UPS and Fed-ex people are working extra long hours.

All we think about is getting what we want when we want it, and the store should have it, right. And we just expect our packages to show up on time; We never give a thought to the people who make it possible; People who give up a lot of time with family, spend a lot of time on the road, so that we can have well stocked stores and get our presents delivered ( especially during this time of year).

Our Trash pick-up Men: When I see them out there on a cold day, I think man, what a job they do for us.

So when you see their trucks on the road, think about how much they do.

Our Protectors: Our Police, Fire/EMT and last but certainly not least our TROOPS.

A lot of these people have to work even on Christmas! And our Troops over sea’s all have to be gone for Christmas, and they are there for us! So we can celebrate freely here at home in America. So remember them in your prayers and their family here at home missing them terribly this Christmas.

Also the Fort Hood families spending the first Christmas without loved ones.

Just a thought to remember all these folks…

The chorus to one of my favorite Christmas songs-

Come on Ring those bells, light the Christmas tree
Jesus is the King born for you and me.

Come on ring those bells, everybody sing
Jesus we remember this your birthday

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Distortion of Beauty

Your adornment must not be merely external--braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on dresses; but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God. 1 Peter 3:3-4

For God sees not as man sees, for man looks
at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."

Old Hallows Eve

Should we as Christians celebrate Halloween
here is some history about Halloween?

Halloween originated as a Druid celebration that honored the god
of the dead. It was believed that on this day, spirits returned
to their homes and demanded a type of worship.
This became depicted in the practice of trick-or-treating.
Prosperity was promised to the generous donors, and tricks to all
who refused, during the Irish, Druid event. It was hoped
that a glowing pumpkin placed on the doorstep
would keep away the evil spirits. And black cats were
considered to be reincarnated beings with the ability to divine the future.

Traditional Halloween symbols, such as witches, black
cats, the death's head cut from a pumpkin, candles, masks,
and parties appeared in the U.S. during the late 1800s.
Occultic groups still celebrate Halloween as a tribute
to Satan. And witchcraft practitioners continue to declare
October 31st as the best time to practice their arts.

A Druid celebration that honored the god of the dead.
It was believed that on this day, spirits returned to their homes
and demanded a type of worship. I think that sums it
Up very well “a celebration that honored the
god of the dead” that doesn’t sound good.
But I think that as Christians we can witness on this day hand
out gospel tracts with the candy, talk to people about the
Lord, get together with your church and do some kind
of outreach on that day.

What Happened to Global Warming? ~ Bible Prophecy Today

Movie Debunks Global Warming Hype

From rural America to the streets of Uganda to the halls of power in Washington, D.C., Not Evil Just Wrong makes the complex science behind climate change understandable. It explains how global warming alarmism will increase costs for working families during one of the worst recessions in living memory. Worse, misguided environmental fears threaten to trap yet another generation of our poorest neighbors around the world in grinding poverty.

It is not a Christian film, But its got some good stuff to say about this "Global Warming" Bull.

Single Year's

July 9th 2007
Alarm clock went off and i woke up and stared at the wall and thought to me self wow I'm 20 year's old
and "I'm Not Married?!"I lye there in bed thinking over my life and all the misstake's i had made the peaple
I had met and the facted that most of my friends had there cars and i did not while i lye there i bed it seemed
as if  life was passing me by. The past two year's ive learned so much about the Lord's Love for his children
and Bible Verse that ive heard time and again make soo much sense now like.

1 John 4:10 "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins."

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is inspired by God and  profitable for teaching, For re-
proof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be
adequate, equipped for every good work.

Hebrews 12:1-3
Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,  fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.  For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Peaple ask me all the time do you date or do you have a girl freind and I try to explane to them the how
courtship works then after that they ask why im not courting some girl and i tell them that i think that
I am not ready for that right now. That day 2 year ago I was talking to the Lord and how i was not
marriage yet and asked Him why?. In His time these's things will come true that day i thought im not ready
for a wife I have no job no truck no house of my own in whitch to share with her i can not support a Family
So ive learned that being single is not bad God calls some of us to be single all our lifes but i know that is not for me, whating is a hard thing to do some times, but there are greater things to come if we wait on His good Timing, We do not know of all the great plans He has for us.

An Answer to a Question

I remember when I doubted my faith, whether I could

Be unsaved an the lord really put it on my heart and I
Asked my parents what to do and they recommended
That I search the Bible to find the answers.

"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that
He loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation
for our sins." 1 John 4:10

There was I time when I could have cared less what the Lord
wanted in my life. But one day I was as if I had a weight
Up on my shoulders and I had heard the gospel all my life living
In a Christian home and as a little boy this was strange to me and it
Was as that weight, I heard about in the Bible was happening to me
And I told my Mom that I wanted to accept the Jesus as my Savior
And she told me how to accept the Jesus.

Ephesians 2:1
AND you were dead in your trespasses and sins,

Ephesians 1:4-11

Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world,
that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love
He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to
Himself, according to the kind intention of His will,
To the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed
On us in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His
Blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches
Of His grace which He lavished on us. In all wisdom and insight
He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His
Kind intention which He purposed in Him with a view to an
Administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is,
the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and
things on the earth. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance,
having been predestined according to His purpose who works
all things after the counsel of His will,
"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels,
nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things
to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our
Lord." Romans 8:38, 39

Heb 6:4-6 For [it is] impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put [him] to an open shame.

“He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ”

He chose us before the world was made.
As Lydia said...
All true believes do not leave the faith. They may falter, they may fall, but God doesn't look down from heaven and say, "Well fine, your not saved anymore, Your no longer good enough." and kick us from His hand. It is sad when a believer falls from the path of righteousness but I believe that true believes will strive to serve God every day. If they don't they didn't loose their salvation, but they are in great sin and as God's child that is a scary thing. God punishes His children when they sin.”

John 10:27-30 “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.”

Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
Eph 2:9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

As Christians we should
"Trust in the Lord with all our heart
Lean not on your own understanding
In all your ways acknowledge
Him and He will make your paths straight.".

To my Brothers and Sisters in Christ

Search the bible for yourself see what

 God says in His word.

I Believe in "Once Saved Always Saved"

In the Lord is my strength and
Only in Him is my strength, if it
Where not for Him I would be

Thanks be to God

In the past few years, ive come to know the Lord even more than that day I accepted Jesus as my saviour as
a little boy. I started off on the wrong foot first off and started hanging out with the bad crowd of  kids and now even though it hurts i must stop hanging out with these kids becouase im spending more time on the ground than walking so to speak, But that is not what i wanted to share with ya'll , Ive been reading the Bible a lot and going to a Church nere my home ive met a few guys that know the Lord as there saviour and thay have been a great Encouragement....

I was reading the Bible last night and i read a verse that ive heard time and again but this time it made lots of
sence to me. now i want you to read an ponder the words and what they mean.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on
your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge
him and he will make your paths straight.

After i read this verse i thought to my self this is sooo true as
Christians we should
"Trust in the Lord with all our heart
Lean not on your own understanding
     In all your ways acknowledge

Him and He will make your paths straight.".

Thank be to God for all the Folk's
He has put in my life to lift me up when im down and
who have taught me to look to the Lord for my strength in time's of need
And to my Mom and Dad

Early in the morning on September 11, 2001, nineteen hijackers took control of four commercial airliners en route to San Francisco and Los Angeles four commercial airliners en route to San Francisco and Los Angeles from Boston, Newark, and Washington, D.C. (Washington Dulles International Airport). At 8:46 a.m.,

American Airlines Flight 11 was crashed into the World Trade Center's North Tower, followed by United Airlines Flight 175 which hit the South Tower at 9:03 a.m. Another group of hijackers flew American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon at 9:37 a.m. A fourth flight, United Airlines Flight 93, whose ultimate target was thought to be either the United States Capitol or White House, crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania at 10:03 a.m, after the passengers on board engaged in a fight with the hijackers....

I remember that day as if it was yesterday ...

September 11 is coming up

Let us pray for those who lost loved one that day in 2001 cause it will be hard for them in the coming weeks..

To Build a Banjo

Part One
For a long time I've liked the folk singers in the "Andy Griffith Show" in the show they where called the Darlings, a family of hillbilly's that came into town every once in a while. The four in the truck are a real band named the Dillard's

And i thought hey why can't i learn to play like that, but when i looked up banjo's on the WEB,
the price's range from $150 to as much as you want to spend an right now i don't have
that kind of money to buy one so I'm going to try to build one. So i have been looking up the different parts of a Banjo so when i start to build it ill kind of know what I'm doing ha ha ha. Ive draw up some blue prints to get an idea of how i want it to look. Well that a enough for now, I'm starting to lose my train of thought. Here are some vids of the darlings.

Rough Road Ahead

Rough Road Ahead

This path we walk as christian's is not alway's
easy. We stumble an we may fall more than we would like but the devil is a strong adversary.
That is why we need the Lord's help on this journey.
Hebrews 12:1 "Let us run with determination the race that lies before us"

I found a Comic Book on my book shelf that i had lost. The name of it is Cornelius By David C. Phipps and David is a christian an he wrote
in the foreword an i quote some of his words "When we start on the Chirstian road of life, we are a little rough around the edges, so to speak. And there probably isn't anything quite as "corny" as professing Jesus Christ. But with God's help we smooth out those edges day by day and we continue to profess, even if it causes us a little embarrassment."Here are the word's to one of his comic strip's, sorry no picture's

"We walk different ways... We walk fast and slow.. we walk with faith and some time's with the lack of it...We walk"happy"! We walk "sad".. But there's on way we never walk.. ...ALONE!"

Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, to help in time of need.

While I was Writing this article Lord brought to mind a Hymn "I Need Thee Every Hour"
Here is a Link to the hymn -->
